Can I ask, how did you sculpt the horns? are they many small pieces? or one long piece carved in to all the flat planes?

my guess is it had a base clay, and then they layered it with small thin rectangles, cut it to size, and repeated. if it was small pieces smashed together, it would morph and not be so neat. ^^

Did you make the teeth and horns separate from the rest of the head?

my god... I tried sculpting with this stuff a while ago and it was nigh on impossible to get any detail in there. Do you have any tips and tricks that you used to make this? If you do I would love to know.

What did you do to get those gruves on the horns? How long did it take you to do this?

I made one piece with the basic horn shape and then carved de lines, then I work the carving to get the horn like detail I wanted. Hope this is understandable enough! Other wise I'll submit some photos with a better explanation.

It looks really nice.. you should think about making casts...I would buy your D&D Dragons as busts or full sculpts. ;D

I'm actually considering getting someone to make a Gargantuan Green Dragon..it's my favorite and when WotC was making the larger Dragon " minis " they quit without making one..any chance your open to commissions ? ;)
